ABATEXTURE

DESCRIPTION

ABATEXTURE is a scrubbable long lasting low sheen, acrylic texture paint giving excellent exterior and interior performance. It is designed to give outstanding application properties and appearance.

Method

All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and free of all loose dirt, dust, grease, loose or flaking paint, and loose surface plaster. Efflorescence or mould on masonry or concrete surfaces must be treated. Flatten gloss surfaces by thoroughly sanding and wipe clean with a damp cloth, then apply primer, sealer or undercoat as required.

Provides hardwearing properties.
Use on areas subject to hard wear and marking, easily cleaned.
Easy spreading and lapping on broad wall areas.

Application

FIELD OF APPLICATION

New and maintenance work.
Residential, Institutional and Commercial sites.
Previously painted.
Properly primed surfaces: plaster, drywall, fiber boards and masonry.

APPLICATION
Stir contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad flat stirrer using an upward action. Thinning is not usually required. Use a short nap roller. Pre-wet rollers with water before commencing application. Avoid excessive brushing into the paint which has been drying for more than 3 minutes.

Physical and Chemical Properties

Appearance : Colored.
Density : Approx. 1.4 g/cm3.
Drying tack free : Approx. 40 minutes at 23°C.
Recoat : 4 hours.
Fully dried : 7 days.
Application temp : 10-35 °C.
Thinner/Clean up : Water.

STORAGE &SHELFLIFE
The shelf life is 12 months if unopened, stored free from frost, moisture and direct sunlight.

Protection and Safty

ABATEXTURE is non-toxic but is alkaline in its nature. When applying gloves & goggles should be worn. Wash off splashes to skin with water. If in eyes wash out with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention. ABATEXTURE is non-flammable. MSDS is available from Abadgaran.
